Jim Leedy
Jim Leedy teaches sculpture at the Kansas City Art Institute. His long and distinguished career begins in the early fifties as a painter and experimenter with a variety of materials, including work in clay. He has taught art history, and incorporates concepts of various times in his unique and very personal statements. His large involved paintings incorporate found objects and demonstrate the complexity of his thought and work processes. Grandness of scale and beauty of form was revealed in his “Sky Art” works.
